Headteacher's Welcome

Welcome to Two Bridges Academy. 

The academy is due to open in September 2024, with phased entry over three years, eventually providing places for 112 pupils.  A holistic curriculum, highly skilled staff and specialist facilities such as a hydrotherapy pool, sensory diet area and sensory room will support the needs of our pupils. 

Enable Trust are hugely grateful to Marlwood School and CSET for their support and ongoing flexibility through the construction process.  ISG Construction are building the Net Zero Carbon academy, and sustainability is a key factor in the design. 

As a new provision, we will aim to establish a welcoming space that nurtures and values our pupils, enabling them to reach their full potential.  In order to achieve this, we are in the process of recruiting our staff team who will work alongside a team of other professionals, including therapists, to deliver a curriculum that meets the holistic needs of each pupil. 

We also intend to work closely with other schools, community groups and training providers to establish meaningful inclusion opportunities and learning experiences which will enhance our curriculum offer.

We are not currently able to offer visits to the academy, but will publish tour dates for prospective parents and carers on this website, once we are open.

I very much look forward to welcoming our first 40 pupils and their families to our academy community in September.
